
UKSAEI Hackathon 2025 – Innovation for Ageing

We are pleased to share that the UKSAEI Hackathon 2025 has been successfully concluded. Thank you once again for your support and contributions in making this programme possible!
This year’s hackathon brought together students across the UK and Singapore, and we were encouraged by the strong participation and quality of ideas presented. In total,

18 teams were formed,
-
14 projects were submitted, and
-
12 teams pitched during the Demo Day on 11 Dec.
-
A total of 54 students manged to complete the programme, participate in the teamwork, and submit the final projects.

The teams demonstrated impressive creativity, teamwork, and thoughtfulness in addressing challenges related to gerontology. I have attached the list of participants with grouping, team names, and result, for your reference.
Prizes and follow-up opportunities:

The Top Team will be sponsored to participate in the Global Impact Startup Challenge (GISC) in Singapore next year.

The Top 3 teams’ ideas will be submitted to Pitch for Good 2026, an annual entrepreneurship competition held in Singapore organised by SUSS for further consideration.

Join the online hackathon that brings together students from UK-Singapore Alliance for Entrepreneurship & Innovation (UKSAEI) university institutions to collaborate on purpose-driven innovation in Gerontology. Participants will work on challenges in Healthcare & Wellness, Active Ageing & Social Engagement, andIndependent Living & Daily Assistance, creating solutions that make a real impact on ageing populations.
